A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash between a school bus and a lorry on a major Scots road.
Police raced to the scene on the A82 near Bowling, West Dunbartonshire at around 3.40pm on Tuesday August 16.
Images taken at the location show the windscreen of the lorry fully smashed as well as the back of the school bus.
One man was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure following the incident.
The road was closed and emergency services were previously in attendance, Traffic Scotland confirmed on Twitter.
They tweeted at 5.48pm: "The Eastbound carriageway remains restricted due to an earlier collision Police are in attendance.
"Very heavy traffic and delays in the area. Travel time Eastbound approach is still 70 minutes. Take Care on approach."
The road has since reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ““Police were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A82 near Bowling around 3.40pm on Tuesday, 16 August.
"One man was taken to hospital as a precaution. The road has since reopened."
