A school is asking parents to collect their children early amid the bad weather expected from Storm Eunice.
With an amber warning in place for Greater Manchester and widespread disruption expected on the roads, the primary school is taking extra precautions to make sure youngsters get home safely.
Families are being asked to collect their children from Orrell Lamberhead Green Primary School, in Orrell, Wigan, from 3.10pm.
Those in Foundation stage and Years 1 to 4, will be ready to be collected at that time along with any older siblings, while Years 5 and 6 will be ready from 3.25pm.
Any child who usually walks home alone won't be able to leave without parental permission.
In a message to parents, headteacher Jane Chambers said: "Because the weather is forecast to be poor at the end of the day, we are planning some changes to how we dismiss the children at the end of the day."
After outlining the pick-up times, she added: "If your child usually walks home by themselves AND they have younger brothers/sisters in school- we will send them to the class of their younger sibling to be collected by you from there.

It comes as the region is bracing itself for the storm, with gale force winds likely to cause flying debris and dangerous conditions.
The Met Office has issued a second rare red warning covering London, the south-east and east of England.
The worst of the weather is expected to hit Greater Manchester from around lunchtime.
