Scarlette Douglas has revealed that Matt Hancock has been added to the I'm A Celebrity group chat after all - despite initially being left out by his jungle co-stars.
The A Place In The Sun host had previously confirmed that the former Health Secretary had not been included in the WhatsApp group, which was set up by fellow campmate Mike Tindall for this year's contestants to keep in touch with each other, leading to fans concluding that the MP had been 'snubbed'. But it now seems that Mike and the other stars have since had a change of heart over the decision.
"He is now in the WhatsApp group, yes," Scarlette confirmed to Lorraine Kelly on her ITV morning show. "He was allowed in. He’s in the group, everyone can breathe."

"When you're in camp, it's so small," she explained to Lorraine of her relationship with the Tory MP. "You have to get on in camp, you don't want any animosity, you don't want any drama.
"And that’s the first thing I said to Matt. If you’re in here we're all gonna be friends, we're all gonna get along because we need to. Outside who knows what will happen, but most importantly in camp we have to be a team."
Speaking last week about claims that Hancock had been snubbed from the group chat, Scarlette said: "I’m not the admin of that WhatsApp group so if Mike (Tindall) wants to invite him he absolutely can, but it’s not me to put the invitation out so we’ll see what happens. He might be busy you never know, he’s doing a lot of stuff, he’s got a lot of press coming up so he might be too busy."
Scarlette also hit back at claims that she had not reached out to her A Place In The Sun co-star Jonnie Irwin after he shared the sad news that he has terminal cancer last month. She confirmed to Lorraine that she had reached out to Jonnie privately after learning of his terminal diagnosis.
"This world now everything's based on social media, and for me what was more important was to message him directly and let him know I'm thinking of him," she said. "If there's anything you need I'm here, I don't have to put that out everywhere or tweet about it, or put an Instagram post about it because it's personal, it's more private and for me that was the best way for me to deal with it."
