As Scarlett celebrated her new arrival at her baby shower, she admitted she never knew if she would be a mum.

"As someone who never knew If she would be a mammy I literally felt on cloud nine at my baby shower," she told her fans.

"I felt so overwhelmed with love and it finally feels real we are going to have a little boy. There’s lots of people I want to thank for my baby shower including my friends & family especially my mam for organising it all."

The fan-favourite Gogglebox star announced her pregnancy with an adorable snap of her very first baby scan, telling fans that her dreams had finally come true.

She posted: "It truly feels like a dream writing this caption. Me and Scott are on cloud nine and we are so happy that we get to share this moment with you all. You are so loved already little one."

The couple began dating in 2018 but didn't go public with their relationship until March 2019.

It is not known why Scarlett feared she would struggle to conceive, but in 2020 she appeared on Lorraine where she said she had to have abnormal cells removed from her cervix.

Scarlett had planned to have a natural birth and even asked her fans for help on what to expect.

She was recommended to make a playlist by one fan, to which she commented: "Such a good idea. I find music really helps my anxiety in every situation so I'll be putting together a playlist."

Another told the Love Bites host to eat dates whilst someone else asked Scarlett why she is wanting a natural birth, to which she replied: "Yeah I haven't made my mind up yet.

"I like the sound of gas and air to be fair and I've been researching epidural so maybe I'll just try and have a VB but if my body feels like it needs help like epidural etc I'll be taking all the help I can get."

The couple announced they were having a son in the most adorable way, showing a bouquet of blue flowers.

Captioning her video, she wrote: "In the great words of the Beatles… 'Here comes the SON.'"
