New Delhi: The Supreme Court in an interim order on Monday stayed the proceedings of criminal defamation case against current and former Delhi Chief Ministers of Delhi Atishi and Arvind Kejriwal over their remarks on the alleged deletion of voter names from electoral roll in national capital in 2018.

A bench of Justices Hrishikesh Roy and SVN Bhatti issued notice to Delhi Police and the complainant, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajeev Babbar, and sought their responses in the matter.
