SC says police must create fear among goons to prevent crimes against women

The Supreme Court on Monday said there was a need to create fear among goons committing crimes against women, while observing that there is a perception that women are not safe in Delhi, particularly in some vulnerable areas.

The remarks came as the court heard a suo motu case on recent rape incidents in Delhi-NCR.
