The holy month of Sawan (Shravan), devoted to Lord Shiva, holds immense spiritual importance in the Hindu calendar. During this time, devotees engage in fasting, special puja rituals, and offer sacred items to the Shivling as a mark of devotion.
As per the Hindu calendar, Sawan in 2026 will commence on Thursday, July 30, and conclude on Friday, August 28, coinciding with Shravan Purnima. The festival of Raksha Bandhan will also be celebrated on the same day, August 28.
