A savvy Edinburgh shopper has placed the 'hottest watch on the planet' on Ebay for over £800 more than they bought it for.
Over the weekend, Edinburgh Live reported how huge queues of people were seen waiting outside the Swatch store on Princes Street, as the collaboration between Swatch and Omega, the MoonSwatch, became available in only four stores nationwide.
Three of the stores were in London and the other, was in Edinburgh, as dozens of customers waited outside to get their hands on the rare watch that was on sale for only £207, a fraction of its true value.

Now, just days later, Ebay has been flooded with thousands of watches, ranging in price from £500-£3,000.
One Edinburgh seller has listed the black edition of the MoonSwatch, the 'Mission To The Moon' version, for £1,900, with a starting bit of £1,000.
Eleven different versions of the watch were on sale over the weekend, all named after different planets, as well as the moon and the sun. Blue, red, pink, yellow, black and white colours are all available as the Ebay marketplace begins to flood.
Some shoppers were even listing the item before stores opened, in anticipation that they would be lucky enough to get their hands on one. Several other listening were made in Scotland, with one in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Troon all up for grabs yesterday, March 30.
The queues on Saturday, March 26, stretched as far as Frederick and Rose Street, with people getting up at the crack of dawn to get in line.
One passerby told Edinburgh Live that the queues stretched for 'miles' and that people were waiting hours to get their hands on one of the watches before stock ran out.
Although a price of £1,900 may seem unrealistic for this particular Edinburgh seller, several watches currently on the market have bids of up to £800 on them, and that's before the time has run out.
With dozens of prices around the £3,000 mark, those sellers may have to hold on to the MoonSwatch for a few more years to generate that sort of profit. One thing's for sure, though - it wasn't the worst idea in the world to stand in the 17-degree heat to make upwards of £600 profit on one item.
