Four convoys loaded with relief aid crossed the Saudi-Yemeni border crossing of al-Wadia on Saturday to the war-torn country.
The aid, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), consists of 36.4 tons of medical supplies for dialysis centers across Yemeni regions.
The latest aid shipment is an extension of the relief and humanitarian projects offered by the Kingdom to improve the health sector in Yemen.
Director of the medical and environment aid department at KSrelief Dr. Abdullah al-Moallem said eleven more trucks loaded with aid will gradually enter Yemen in the coming days.
They will carry 116.209 tons of equipment needed for dialysis centers throughout the country.
