The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of his election as President of the United Arab Emirates by the Federal Supreme Council, the Saudi Press Agency reported Saturday.
The King said he looked forward to continuing work to consolidate the bonds of fraternity and friendship between their two countries and peoples, “and to work together to strengthen relations between the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States and the Arab and Islamic nations.”
He hoped for further security, stability and prosperity in the UAE.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has sent a similar cable of congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
In his cable, the Crown Prince wished the UAE President every success to serve his people and country and continue the march of development and prosperity, SPA said.
