The Saudi leadership congratulated Qatar on its successful hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz dispatched a cable of congratulations to Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
He hoped Qatar would achieve more accomplishments, wishing its people progress and prosperity.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a similar cable to Sheikh Tamim.
He wished Qatar further progress and success.
Ahead of the World Cup, Crown Prince Mohammed had ordered all Saudi ministries and government agencies to provide additional support or facilitations to Qatar to help it host the global tournament.
