Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received in Jeddah on Thursday Malaysia's Defense Minister Hishamuddin Hussein.
Discussions between the two officials focused on bilateral cooperation between the two countries, mainly on the ways to boost the defense capabilities.
The meeting was attended by Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, Prince Khaled bin Salman, Deputy Minister of Defense, Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, Chief of Staff, Dr. Khaled Al-Biyari, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Hisham Al-Sheikh, Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense, and Major General Eng. Talal Al Otaibi, Military Adviser to the Minister of Defense.
The Malaysian delegation included, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense Muadh Abdulaziz, Commander of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Haji Affendi Buang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense Shahrazad Haji Ahmed, Director General of Defense Intelligence in the Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Ahmad Nourihan Jalal, and CEO of the Armed Forces Fund Council Ahmad Nazim Abdul Rahman.
