The Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Khaled al-Biyari, visited the southern region within the framework of the “Together” program and under the directives of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
The program aims to achieve best practices in the work environment in the ministry.
Biyari began his visit on Thursday with a tour of the Armed Forces Hospital in the Southern Region. He was briefed on the latest developments in the Diabetes Center and the Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Center for Cardiac Diseases and Surgery.
The Assistant Minister then inaugurated the digital dental lab, designed with the latest digital technologies to provide advanced services to patients.
He also launched the pharmaceutical mail service, which provides distinguished services and saves time and effort.
Biyari visited armed forces personnel wounded during the Determination Storm and Renewal of Hope operations.
He was briefed on their medical conditions and services, and conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman.
Biyari visited the Facilities Management and Engineering Affairs Branch and was briefed on the the branch’s projects. He also met employees of the department.
The Assistant Minister concluded his visit to the Southern Region by watching a brief presentation at the Operations Center of the Southern Command about the Ministry of Defense development program, its achievements, progress, and the most essential achievements in the related initiatives.
