Saudia Airlines announced on Tuesday that it will resume operating direct flights from Saudi Arabia to Thailand from May.
The announcement was made after the two kingdoms restored their diplomatic relations.
Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha was in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday where he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
The leaders agreed to boost relations, including appointing ambassadors to their countries soon and establishing a consultative mechanism to strengthen cooperation.
