Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Monday the terrorist attack that targeted a crowded mosque in Pakistan’s northwestern city of Peshawar.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry underscored the Kingdom’s firm rejection of attacks against places of worship the terrorization of worshippers and the shedding of innocent blood.
Saudi Arabia stands by the government of Pakistan against all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, it added.
It offered condolences to the relatives of the victims and the government and people of Pakistan.

Police said the attacker appeared to have passed through several barricades manned by security forces to get into the "Red Zone" compound that houses police and counter-terrorism offices in Peshawar.
