The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman signed on Thursday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build relations of partnership and integration in order to achieve the strategic goals of the two countries on food and water security, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The MoU was co-signed by Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli and the Omani Minister of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al-Habsi, SPA said.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of integrated water management systems, institutional framework, operations, initiatives and projects related to food and water security, the news agency added.
