Saudi Arabia Launches Campaign for Its Bid to Host Expo 2030 Riyadh

Five countries, including Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Italy, Ukraine and Russia are in the reckoning for the 2030 World Expo. The letter announcing Riyadh’s intention to bid was submitted Oct. 29, 2021 on behalf of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Asharq Al-Awsat.

The Saudi capital Monday launched an ambitious global campaign for its bid to host the Expo 2030 Riyadh at a dazzling closing ceremony of the Kingdom’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

This campaign comes after Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman having announced last October that Riyadh had submitted an official request to host the exhibition in 2030.
