Saudi Arabia Foils Attempt to Smuggle 2.4 Million Captagon Pills

Authorities seize 1,215,353 captagon pills hidden in a cement shipment at the Jeddah port. (SPA)

Saudi Arabia announced on Friday that it had thwarted two attempts to smuggle more than 2.4 million captagon pills at the Jeddah Islamic Port and Empty Quarter Port.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority said 1,213,378 captagon pills were seized at the Empty Quarter Port and 1,215,353 pills hidden in a cement shipment at the Jeddah port.
