Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned a deadly terrorist attack that targeted a security post in southern Yemen's Abyan province.
The Foreign Ministry expressed in a statement the Kingdom’s total rejection of all terrorist acts targeting security services and regional stability.
The Ministry also expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
On Tuesday, an early morning attack in Abyan's Ahwar district targeted a post manned by troops from the Security Belt force, loyal to the Southern Transitional Council.
At least 21 troops were killed in the attack and the ensuing clashes. Four more soldiers were also wounded, while six militants were killed and others were detained.
