Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty waltzed into the men’s doubles final of the China Masters BWF Super-750 tournament in Shenzen on Saturday. The top seeds defeated He Ji Ting and Ren Xiang Yu of China 21-15, 22-20 in the semifinals. The new Chinese pair won the Japan Masters last week.
The Indian pair dominated the Chinese to reach their sixth final in 2023. Earlier this year, they had made the finals of Swiss Open, Asian Championships, Indonesia Open, Korea Open and the Asian Games — and won all of them.
