Attempts to read Taylor Swift’s lips to see what she’s saying happen a lot, whether it’s while watching Travis Kelce play or perhaps gossiping at an awards show with her friends.
So Saturday Night Live decided to have some fun with that and attempted lip-reading celebrities in general with a sketch on Saturday in which “professional” lip readers come with some bad reads. Kelce sounds like the stereotypical “dumb jock” and Swift just talks about current events and voting … even though their lips aren’t really moving, as the sketch that takes place on Entertainment Tonight notes.
