Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali has told Davide Frattesi to 'learn English as soon as possible' in a major hint that the midfielder's future will lie in the Premier League.
Frattesi has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent days after another brilliant season in Serie A. The 23-year-old has played all 36 of Sassuolo's league games, registering an impressive seven goals in the process.
Erik ten Hag is expected to strengthen in midfield, improving quality as well as adding depth. The Dutchman will also be hoping to lower the average age in the middle of the park, with both Casemiro and Christian Eriksen 31 years old.

As such, reports suggest United are eyeing a move for Frattesi, with the Reds said to be battling Brighton for his signature this summer. Sassuolo are aware of interest in their midfielder, and CEO Carnevali has seemed to point to his next destination.
"I can reveal that the best opportunity for Davide Frattesi is now coming from a Premier League club. I suggest Davide to learn English as soon as possible," he said.
Frattesi joined Sassuolo from Monza two years ago and has been a consistent performer for the Italian side who continue to punch above their weight. The midfielder is yet to win a senior cap for the Italian national side but has played nine times for the under-21s.
Central midfield is an area of his squad Ten Hag is looking to address in the coming months, with last summer's pursuit of Frenkie de Jong an example of the calibre of talent wanted at Old Trafford.
