"Sarfira," starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, has shown promising growth in ticket sales on its first Wednesday. The film which hit theatres on July 12, is tipped to cross the Rs 2 crore mark on Wednesday, according to early estimates.
After a slow start at the box office during its opening weekend, the film's fortunes seem to be improving. A report on Sacnilk.com states that 'Sarfira' earned an estimated Rs 2 crore nett on Day 6, a slight increase from Tuesday's collections of approximately Rs 1.95 crore. The film, which accumulated Rs 13.45 crore in its first four days, saw an upward trend in box office performance on Tuesday and continued this trajectory on Wednesday.
