Sarah Michelle Gellar recently celebrated her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.'s 48th birthday with a playful Instagram post, humorously referring to him as her 'birthday bae.' The post featured a photo of Prinze salting a piece of meat, in a nod to the popular internet meme '#saltbae.'

The couple, who marked their 21st wedding anniversary in September, first met on the set of 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and tied the knot in 2002 at the El Careyes resort in Mexico. Gellar affectionately described Prinze as her 'first love' and emphasized that they are each other's best friend.
