Sarah Ferguson has praised King Charles III for 'unifying' the Royal Family after years of rifts with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Sarah, Duchess of York, 63, appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning and gave an insight into the Royal Family ahead of 74-year-old Charles' Coronation next month.
During the TV interview, Fergie praised Charles for doing a "really good job" with unifying the family.
Speaking on the ITV daytime show this morning, Sarah said of Charles: "The great thing about this moment in time is the unity of family I think they're doing an exceptional job of unifying the family."
When asked quizzed about her feelings on not attending the Coronation herself, Fergie said she was "very close" with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
She added: "Just because I'm not there on the state occasion but in private I can be there and that's a lovely feeling to be part of the family, it really is. As I said you can't have it both ways, you mustn't sit on the fence – you're either in or out but don't muck around."
It comes after is was revealed that Meghan will not be attending the Coronation in person.
The news was announced as it was confirmed Prince Harry would be travelling to London to attend the historic event.
The Palace said in a statement: "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May.
"The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."
Meghan did receive an invite to the Coronation, but decided to stay at home.
It is understood Meghan's decision was due to her son's Prince Archie's birthday, which falls on the same day as the Coronation.
The tot will turn four on May 6 and it's expected the Duchess of Sussex, 41, will throw in "intimate party" for her son.
And it's been reported Charles feels "disappointed" Meghan and his grandchildren won't be there to watch him be crowned.
A source told The Sun: "The King is happy that Harry, his son, who he calls his ‘darling boy’ will be at the Abbey.
"He wanted him there. It is sad, he is very disappointed that he won’t see Meghan or his grandchildren but understands the situation."
Despite Meghan not attending the event, she has been included in the official Coronation programme.
The souvenir programme for the King’s Coronation contains a picture of King Charles, Queen Camilla and William with Harry and Meghan - despite her skipping the event.
The photo, taken in 2018 to mark the King’s 70th birthday, is included despite the fact Meghan is to stay at home in California on what will be her son Archie’s birthday.
The 84-page official souvenir, which costs £20, went on sale on Monday ahead of the event on Saturday May 6.
