The father of a ten-year-old girl found dead at home in Surrey confessed to killing her in a punishment beating for being “naughty”, the Old Bailey has heard.

Police officers found Sara Sharif’s body tucked under the covers of an upstairs bunkbed, along with a note from her father Urfan Sharif confessing: “I killed my daughter by beating”.
