Sara Davies red faced after mortifying 'bra' mix-up while broadcasting live to America

Sara Davies was left mortified after a 'bra' mix-up live on TV, which was seen by viewers not just in the UK, but America as well.

Massively successful County Durham entrepreneur Sara has recently returned to the fold on Dragon's Den as the BBC show shoots it latest series, following on from her stint in the Strictly ballroom last year and her appearances at arenas across the country on the live tour earlier this year.

And, while she' not on primetime mainstream TV, Sara, founder of Crafters' Companion is constantly on television in the early hours, presenting on her company's own channel, Crafters TV, which has its own studio in the North East. UK viewers still awake in the dead of night can see Sara in action as she sells all manner of products and so can crafting fans over the other side of the Atlantic.

The huge potential audience her channel can reach made Sara's slip of the tongue all the more embarrassing. After managing to regain composure and get through the rest of the show, Sara shared the moment in question on her Instagram. Presenting alongside colleague Ben Moseby, Sara asked him to adjust her microphone but blurted out: "Reach down me bra and take it off."

After seeing him look taken aback by her request, Sara quickly added: "No! Not me bra, not me bra! Me microphone!" The pair then doubled over in hysterics, with Ben then looking into the lens and saying: "Can someone get Sara a microphone?"

Writing next to the video, Sara posted: "Live on air tonight and I actually said ‘reach down my bra and take it off’ - I mean I just don’t know what I was thinking! Poor @benmosebycc was red as anything! Eeh we do always have a laugh on @crafterscomptv."

Celeb friends like Gethin Jones and Dan Walker were quick to react, with The Sun US also picking up on the mishap as Sara made headlines Stateside.
