Santa visits will soon kick off in Dublin with plenty of places for the kiddies to visit the big man himself.
From urban farms to shopping centres to immersive experiences, there are a number of wonderful Santa visits to be experienced in and near Dublin this Christmas. Here are the best places to visit Santa in and around Dublin in 2022.
Santa at the DSPCA
Santa will arrive at the DSPCA on the weekend of December 16 to 18 to greet children and the dogs there. Promising a traditional experience that reflects the true value of Christmas, ticket holders are invited to bring along their dogs.

The experience costs €20 per child and €5 per adult, which includes a private visit with Santa, a gift for each child and dog, story time with the elves and a family photo (including the dog) for an extra €5. There will also be the charity shop which will be full of Christmas cards, cosy hoodies, gifts for pets and more.
Taylor's Santa Experience
Taking place at the Three Rock Hotel in Dublin 16, Taylor's Santa Experience includes a visit with Santa, a gift for the children and a performance by Mrs Claus and the elves. Taylor's Santa Experience is brought to us by the same producers as the Olympia Panto and The Late Late Toy Show and takes place from November 27 until December 23.

Santa's Magical Cabin at the Ilac Centre
Santa's Magical Cabin at the Ilac Centre runs from November 18 until December 23. Families will meet an elf guide who will take them directly to Santa’s house for a private visit.
Each child will receive an age-appropriate gift from Santa and there will also be a professional photographer there to capture a snap of all the family. Tickets can be booked here.
Santa's House Express
Santa's House Express returns in 2022 to Palmerstown Estate in County Kildare. Visitors can expect over 2km of displays and characters upon arrival as well as a Winter Wonderland family funfair, a personal Saint Nick visit at Santa's Manor and market stalls selling hot food and beverages.
The experience will be taking place on select dates between November 25 and December 23 with tickets available to purchase here.
Santa at Airfield Estate
The immensely popular Santa experience at Airfield Estate in Dundrum went on sale back in August and has been met with huge demand, as always. The Christmas Experience at Airfield Estate is on from November 19 until December 23 2022 and consists of a visit to Santa, a vintage carousel and much more.
Children's tickets cost €23.50 (ages 1 to 12) which includes the magical visit to Santa, a gift, a twirl on the vintage carousel, Jersey milk plum pudding ice-cream taster, a take-home trail map, warm chocolate Jersey milk and a handcrafted ‘turkey’ bookmark.
Meet Santa at the Red Stables
The Red Stables in St Anne's Park will this year play host to a wonderful Santa visit experience in aid of Laura Lynn. Elves will be on hand to help children decorate ginger biscuits and post their letter to the North Pole.
As well as the Santa visit, there will also be face painting and free hot chocolate. The experience takes place on select dates throughout December and can be booked here.
Enchanted Forest at Luggwoods
The Christmas experience at Luggwoods has become a firm annual favourite for many a family in Dublin and the Enchanted Forest will be available to book at Luggwoodsevents.com. Visitors can expect to enjoy a lit up trail at the foot of the Dublin mountains and a visit to Santa himself, as well as a number of other festive attractions.
Santa Experience at Tayto Park
Tayto Park, which will soon be widely known as Emerald Park, is bringing back its Snata visiting experience this festive season. Then popular theme park will bring visitors the usual audience with the bearded bringer of presents as well as a host of other fun attractions.
The kids will have a chance to meet cast of elf adventures and will also have access to the park and zoo before or after the visit. Of course, each child will also receive a special gift. Bookings can be made here.
Winter Wonderland at Barretstown
On Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27, Winter Wonderland will take place at Barretstown. There will be Christmas market stalls, family games, festive music and finally, the visit to Santa.
Children will also be able to write their letters and Santa will take those letters back with him to the North Pole. A limited number of tickets are available to book here.
North Pole Experience at Kids Zone
Kids Zone in Tallaght will play host to the North Pole Experience which will include meetings with a variety of characters, a spin on the Coca-Cola Trucks, a gift and a photo with Santa, as well as 20 minutes of Kids Zone playtime while you wait for your photo.

Santa at Clissman Horse Caravans
After a super popular Halloween pumpkin patch experience at Clissman Horse Caravans, the family run farm is again inviting visitors for the Christmas season. Those who book tickets can expect a magical journey on a Horse Carriage Sleigh through the forest to see Santa at his Woodland Workshop where they will receive a gift.
