An Upper Nithsdale nursery received a glowing report after a surprise visit from officials.

The Care Inspectorate called at Sanquhar Nursery on May 9 and 10 with an unannounced visit. And its “motivated staff” members were praised for providing “warm, nurturing care” and making children feel “happy, secure and safe”.
