Sandman star Tom Sturridge's famous family – from acting parents to mega-star ex

Tom Sturridge takes on the role of Dream in Netflix’s The Sandman, with the actor undergoing a dramatic transformation for the part.

The 36-year-old star has been acting since 1996, though the new Neil Gaiman fantasy series is his biggest break so far.

He has recently starred in Sweetbitter and Irma Vep, but he has more experience in the acting world than some fans would expect.
