FAQs
Does Samsung offer free shipping?
Yes, most Samsung orders come with free shipping by default, meaning you won't be charged additional charges on top of the price you pay. Orders sent via standard shipping usually arrive within 1 - 5 working days, but if you want to get your goods quicker, you can pay for expedited or express shipping at the checkout. The price of this will vary depending on which type of item you are ordering and which option you pick. Note that appliances may be subject to different shipping options and fees.
Does Samsung offer a student discount?
Absolutely. Students & education workers can save up to 30% on their tech purchases by verifying their status through the brand's site to access the exclusive education discounts page. To get verified, you'll need to provide a valid .EDU email address or verify with ID.Me before you place an order. Once confirmed, you'll be redirected to the student deals page, where you can purchase devices at lower prices.
Does Samsung offer a military discount?
If you're a current or retired member of the US military, you can also save on your orders verifying your status before heading to the checkout. Simply provide a relevant email address and photo ID to prove your employment, and you can access exclusive discounts of up to 30% across the brand's range. On top of this, Samsung also offers professional discounts to first responders, government workers and Samsung employees.
What is Samsung Pay and can it save me money?
Samsung Pay is the brand's own tap-to-pay tool that offers cash back awards on purchases with a wide range of popular retailers across electronics, beauty & health, travel, groceries, entertainment & more. No matter what you're buying, paying for your purchases with Samsung Pay will earn you cash back awards, giving you a little extra bang for your buck. The same is true of Samsung Wallet, which is the brand's more comprehensive digital wallet that can include multiple cards, plus digital tickets, ID documents and more.
What is the Samsung returns policy?
As standard, items sold through the Samsung store can be returned for whatever reason within 15 days of the delivery date. You'll need to arrange this with the brand's team by signing in to your account and heading to 'My Orders', then selecting the returns option. Samsung may then provide a pre-paid returns label, or arrange a collection for a fee, depending on your item.
Your item must be received in its original packaging and like-new with all accessories and documentation to qualify for a refund. A restocking fee of between 5% of the price of your item will be subtracted from your refund total depending on which item you are returning. Note that certain phones, such as the Galaxy A and S series models, are exempt from the restocking charge.
Samsung Saving Tips
Pick up seasonal bargains
Yearly events like Black Friday or Samsung Week are great times to shop at the official Samsung Store. Generally speaking, these run from late October to early December, and you'll regularly find the prices on phones, tablets, TVs and appliances up to 50% lower or more, as well as things like free smartwatches and earbuds being offered with selected Galaxy smartphones.
Even though these two previously mentioned events occur late in the year, you'll generally find excellent deals on the Samsung offers page around other retail events like President's Day, Labor Day, and Amazon Prime Day in mid-summer. Check this page throughout the year to see all the latest ways to save - we update this listing regularly.
Join Samsung Rewards
The Samsung Rewards program is a free loyalty program for customers that lets you earn points back on every purchase you make. At the first tier (Silver tier), you'll earn 1 point for every dollar you spend, but as you spend more, you'll rise up through different ranks.
For example, when you reach Gold tier (after earning 500 points), you'll earn 2 points for each dollar you spend, then at Platinum (reached after earning 2500), this rises again to 3 points per $1 spent.
Higher tiers also come with additional benefits such as 10% discounts on electronics & accessories (Silver and up), 20% off Samsung care+ plans (Gold and up), and 20% off installation & haul-away fees (Gold and up).
Its not just purchases that can earn you points, either. Members can also reap rewards by referring friends to the Samsung Store, or through with free giveaways for members. Keep an eye out for chances to earn extra points on the brand's site.
Consider VIP Advantage
VIP Advantage is the paid tier of Samsung Rewards and comes with a number of additional perks that can make paying for membership worth the cost is you're a regular customer. Membership is priced at $149.99 per year, and increases your reward points rate to 6 points for every $1 you spend.
You'll also get 2 years' worth of Samsung Care+ for up to 4 chosen devices per year, saving you on the cost of repairs, insurance and expert support. The service also includes free simple installations and old device removal upon delivery, early access to sales, and a number of members-only discounts (including 10% off all accessories).
Trade in your old devices
Like many retailers, Samsung offers a competitive trade-in program that you can use to get rid of old tech in exchange for discounts on new purchases. The brand accepts all kinds of devices, including smartphones, smart watches, and even TVs. Items don't have to be in perfect condition to net you store credit, and the brand even accepts non-Samsung devices. We've seen customers offered as much as $1000 in store credit for selected tech, with the higher end rewards usually tied to the latest models that are in like-new or perfect condition.
Buy refurbished devices
Not bothered about getting the shiniest new device possible? A great alternative to buying a new device upfront is heading to the Samsung Certified Re-Newed store. Here, you'll find many pre-owned items that have been checked, refurbished, and tested by Samsung itself up for sale with discounts ranging up to 30% off new prices. Since these items are guaranteed under a 1-year warranty and are in 'like-new' condition, this is potentially a great option for bargain hunters and is much more eco-friendly than buying tech new.
Refer a friend
Know someone who'd like the Samsung range? If you're signed up to the brand's rewards program, you'll have the option to refer friends to the brand for additional rewards. Just sign in to your account to receive a unique link, then send it to your friends to get 5% off their purchase. Once their order has completed, you'll earn up to $100 in store credit as a thank you depending on what they've purchased. You can refer multiple friends, too, with the potential to earn a maximum of $1,000 worth of rewards per year.

How we source coupon codes
Whether it's through our affiliate networks, the depths of the world wide web, or our connections with big name brands, here at TechRadar we use every tool at our disposal to source the latest codes.
Our coupons team updates each of our pages multiple times a week with the most recent deals, including exclusive coupons negotiated by our Commercial team. We also include the latest sales info directly from retailers to offer the most up-to-date discounts around.
How we test coupon codes
Each coupon you find on TechRadar has been tested before being uploaded by our dedicated Deals & Offers teams. You’ll see a range of offers, from free shipping to student discounts, with savings available on all kinds of products & services. To make sure every coupon is ready to use, we don’t list any user-specific or one-time codes.
We also include all relevant information about coupons, such as expiry dates and any terms & conditions, near the ‘Get Code’ button. You can see the details for an individual offer by clicking on the ‘Terms & Conditions’ text below the code and expanding the code area.
What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
Although we do our best to ensure all listed codes are tried & tested, sometimes coupons expire or terms & conditions are changed before we can update pages. Our team works hard to make sure our coupons are active and work as intended, and should you encounter an issue when using one, we’ll work just as hard to help.
The best place to start is by checking the requirements. Click “View terms and conditions” to expand the code section and see any guidance on your chosen coupon. For example, you may need to meet a minimum spend, add other items to your basket to qualify for a multibuy offer, or confirm that your chosen code applies to the items in your basket (i.e. 10% off laptops).
If you’re still having issues using your code, you can email our customer service team on coupons.techradar@futurenet.com. Include as many details as possible - such as which code you used and which coupon page it’s listed on so our team can address your issue as fast as possible.
How we make money
When it comes to coupons, TechRadar earns money via a commission-based model. For every brand we have a coupon page for, we’ve negotiated a deal that means we earn a percentage of total basket value in commission back from every order.
Using this model means we can offer our coupons to our customers free of charge. You won’t pay any fees to add your chosen coupon to your basket - you’ll simply pay the final order total once your discount has been applied.
