The Supreme Court on Friday quashed criminal proceedings against YouTuber-comedian Samay Raina and four other comedians in connection with alleged insensitive remarks about persons with disabilities on the show India's Got Latent, as per a Bar and Bench report.
A bench comprising Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana passed the order, bringing the criminal proceedings against Raina and the other four accused to an end.
