Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan's Y security removed by UP govt

Azam Khan Samajwadi Party Uttar Pradesh Lucknow

LUCKNOW: Samajwadi party national general secretary and former minister Mohammad Azam Khan's Y category security was removed by the Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday.

A senior home official said that the state level security committee, constituted to provide security to ministers, former ministers and VVIPs, had said in its report that no justification has been found for maintaining Y category security of former MLA Mohammad Azam Khan.
