The Washington Commanders begin reporting to training camp next week. The rookies are scheduled to report on July 21, a few days before the veterans return.
In preparation for camp, several Commanders got together this week in Florida for some work. Quarterbacks Sam Howell and Jacoby Brissett were joined by wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson, running back Brian Robinson Jr. and others as they look to stay sharp ahead of training camp.

Washington wide receiver Dyami Brown, a college teammate of Howell’s at North Carolina, was also present and has been spotted working out with Howell throughout the offseason. Brown put up record-breaking numbers during his final two college seasons, with Howell throwing him the football. Could the former third-round pick be a breakout candidate in 2023?
McLaurin noted that it was the quarterbacks, both Howell and Brissett, who coordinated the event, per Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post.
Terry McLaurin said 13/14 Commanders worked out together in Ft. Lauderdale for a few days. Among those w/ McLaurin: Sam Howell, Jacoby Brissett, Jahan Dotson, Dyami Brown, Marcus Kemp, Brian Robinson, Jaret Patterson & John Bates (edit: and Jonathan Williams).
