Outlander star Sam Heughan has posted some exclusive, behind-the-lens clips of himself while filming for Channel 4 drama, Suspect. The Scottish actor plays Ryan, a former co-worker of Danny's (Jamie Nesbitt), and the estanged father suspects Ryan may know more about his daughter's death than he is letting on.
On his social media, Sam wrote a caption alongside a minute-long video of a behind-the-scenes episode from the show, saying: "Do you think Ryan did it? All will be revealed tonight…Talking behind the scenes in #Suspect. Catch up on All 4, FINAL episode out tonight at 9pm on @channel4!"

Sam said in the video: "I really enjoyed playing Ryan. He's a man who is pretty dodgy, he's conflicted and his loyalties have been shredded and his moral code is completely bent.
"He's a pretty scary guy. He's definitely a nasty piece of work."
Continuing on, Sam explained: "There's a lot of movement in those scenes, it really helps add the pressure and the tension. Ryan's got a lot of anger, a lot of built-up physical energy.
"You see him exerting it in the boxing gym, and it also sort of shows the menace that he has as well. He's trying to control his emotions, the story, what he tells Danny. Yeah, the gym was intense. It was intense but a lot of fun to shoot."
"That sweat was real, for sure!", He cheekily adds at the end.

Another said: "Sam, you were just irresistible.! I wish you many more different and interesting roles, you will succeed." And a third wrote: "The show leaves many questions unanswered. Very well written and acted.
"I can't even tell if your character is the bad guy or not. Everything is under tension. It could have been anyone. Can't wait to see the final tonight."
A fourth added: "Sam you were awesome!". Another concluded: "Loved how you played Ryan!! very different to your Scandi counterpart. Hope to see you in more of these psychological thrillers."
Suspect returns to our television screens on Wednesday, June 22 at 9pm on Channel 4, for the final two episodes.
