Sam Heughan has left his fans hot under the collar with his latest drop for his business venture Sassenach Spirits, as he delighted his social media following by informing them there would soon be a new gin available in the collection.
The Outlander star, best known for his role as Jamie Fraser in the Starz hit programme, grabbed his audience's attention the best way he knows how - by throwing on a kilt, which often gets his fanbase into a frenzy.
He wrote: "A taste of wild Scotland! I’m so excited to finally reveal the release date of @SassenachSpirit Wild Scottish Gin! JUNE 15 for the US release. With more markets to follow! The Scottish acting hunk added that "It’s unique, purely Scottish botanicals include: Crabapple Rhubarb Toasted oats Heather Scot’s Pine resin Bramble leaf Blaeberry And Juniper X."
Sam, 42, initially teased that a new tipple was in the works last August, which left his fans watering at the mouth as they speculated he could be bringing out a gin to pair up with his successful whisky launch.
His drinks company already has more whisky and tequila products lined up , but fans are excited to taste the latest addition.
But his followers have been concerned previously that the drink will be unavailable to those further afield and many have pleaded that the Starz favourite takes another look at shipping worldwide, with many of his fans desperate to get their hands on a bottle.
One person wrote: "Ok, but can we talk about the distribution issue? I’m in the US and can’t get any of these products shipped to me."
Another added: "Hope this one will ship to the EU!!"
Luckily in good news for everyone, the company have confirmed they are now on the case, writing: "We're diligently working on our UK, EU and Canada release early 2024!," so luckily everyone can grab a bottle, even if they need to wait a little longer.
Meanwhile, his fans were delighted at the news of the latest gin, with one person saying: "Yaaazzz!!! SO excited to try it Sam!!! Congratulations!!"
"Can’t wait to order it Sam!! And Congrats too you!!! Slainte!! Pretty bottle too!!," penned another.
Whilst a third added: "YES!!! Can’t wait to taste this. Sounds amazing! and not looking so bad either."
