Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe and other members of the Outlander family promised fans an "explosive" seventh season - and that's exactly what they've recieved so far.

In the second episode of the new season - titled 'The Happiest Place on Earth' - Wendigo's ill-fated strike of a match causes Claire and Jamie's home on the Ridge to burst into flames ending in a shock cliffhanger.

In the most recent episode 'Death Be Not Proud' it's revealed Claire and Jamie Fraser, played by Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, made it out of the blaze by the skin of their teeth.
