In a story that could quite easily be made into a TV show, Sam Gowland has shed his reality star roots to taste huge success after leaving Geordie Shore.
Sam first found TV fame on Love Island in 2017, when he was briefly coupled up with eventual finalist Olivia Attwood before her relationship with Chris Hughes.
But it was on Newcastle-based Geordie Shore that Sam really made his mark on TV, when he was snapped up by producers months after leaving Love Island, to swap a Majorcan villa for the infamous Tyneside party pad.

Sam's time on the show dominated by his on/off relationship with co-star Chloe Ferry and, after things soured between the pair, both on screen in front of millions of viewers and off screen, as cameras stopped rolling, Sam's time on Geordie Shore came to an end.
However, unlike some other former stars of the show who have faded into obscurity after walking out of the house for a final time, Sam has been making a real splash in the world of business and property.
In the immediate aftermath of leaving Geordie Shore, Sam quickly seized on the chance to become a budding entrepreneur, putting his name to everything from clothing to watches.
And, if you follow Sam on Instagram you'll know he has also done very well out of selling wax melts, with him excuse the pun, waxing lyrical, about how customers can make their homes smell like an array of designer fragrances.
Sam's Insta grid is also packed full of pictures of him having the time of his life as he jet sets around the world on an array of luxury holidays, regularly flying out to the likes of Dubai, Turkey and, more recently, Thailand, where he has been spending time with girlfriend Scarlett Rae.
When he's not packing his suitcase to go on a yet another lavish trip abroad, Sam is hard at work on his property business, which has gone strength to strength since he outlined his plans last year.
Having sold his amazing house in North Tyneside, Sam announced his intentions to build a mansion at Wynyard in County Durham, an Sedgefield estate famous for attracting plenty of Newcastle United players and execs over the years.
After getting planning approval for his own dream home, Sam launched his own company Sam Gowland Properties and announced he was overseeing the building on a string of mansion s in the area, each coming come complete with cinema room, private bar, gym, sauna, steam room, and hydro resistance pool.
Sam has said he's aiming to bring 'Marbella to Teesside,' posting on Instagram: "Proud is an under statement once again but not taking away any of the hard work and sleepless nights that have gone into making my dreams come true."
And this, week having already sold out two phases of properties, Sam, still only 26, announced that all the properties in phase three had also been snapped up.
Reflecting on his property career so far and his aspirations for the future in another Insta post, Sam told his growing number of followers: "£I’m either crazy or a genius… I've bought another plot of land to build another luxury mansion on...honestly can’t believe it the way life pans out, from dreams as a youngster to reality as an adult. can’t wait to start planning the new design and structure for this build !
"For everyone’s that knows me knows I’m never content on sitting on what I’ve got and always looking for the next best thing."
