After delighting legions of fans all over the country in recent weeks, Sam Fender is getting set for a rip roaring homecoming this week as he plays two sell out shows in Newcastle.
The North Shields musician will play to huge crowds at the Utilita Arena on Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6, having already gone down a storm in the likes of Brighton, London and Birmingham. Months after the region celebrated his Best Rock Act win at this year's Brit Awards, Sam is back on home turf with his Seventeen Going Under tour.
The album of the same name out sold the rest of the top 10 combined when it shot straight to number 1 in the autumn, while its title track gave Sam and his band their biggest chart hit yet. Ant and Dec sprung a huge surprise on Sam by presenting him with a number 1 trophy and last month he appeared on Saturday Night Takeaway.
