Outgoing Leeds United boss Sam Allardyce's 25 days in charge at Elland Road is the shortest in Premier League history, according to the team at betting.com. The Whites parted company with the 68-year-old following their relegation to the Championship, with the former West Ham United, Bolton and Sunderland boss picking up just one point from a possible 12 available to him.
To make matters worse, his predecessor, Javi Gracia, who managed just 70 days in charge of Leeds this season also makes him one of the shortest-reigning Premier League managers, ranking third in the all time list. It's been a campaign to forget for the Elland Road faithful who're now preparing for a return to the second tier.
Many would have been forgiven for thinking life in the Championship was a thing of the past, having won the title under Marcelo Bielsa. However, a dramatic fall from grace and numerous bad decisions has lead to this stage.

14 managers were sacked from their permanent managerial roles last season, with Nathan Jones of Southampton and Gracia making it into the top-ten shortest reigns. Jones lasted just 95 days in charge of the Saints, who were also relegated to the Championship.
Allardyce has taken one of the football’s most unwanted titles away from former Charlton boss Les Reed, who spent just 41 days in charge of the London side, during the club’s relegation in the 2006/07 season.
