A Saltburn Cricket Club player has been suspended indefinitely following allegations of cheating during a match, captured in a viral video.
The player was accused of clicking his fingers to simulate a caught-behind dismissal, leading the umpire to give the opposing batter out.
Saltburn Cricket Club confirmed the player will not play for the club "for the foreseeable future" and is cooperating with an ongoing investigation.
The North Yorkshire and South Durham Cricket League has launched an official investigation into the incident.
Saltburn's second team has conceded their upcoming cup fixture against Marton in response to the controversy.
