Salmonella outbreak leaves one dead and hundreds ill in UK as London suffers highest number of cases

A person has died and hundreds of people have fallen ill from an outbreak of salmonella food poisoning, health officials have said.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said the outbreak “may be linked to eggs imported from outside of the UK”.
