Salmonella outbreak in Belgium linked to eggs leaves 300 people ill

  • Victims range from infants to a 96-year-old, with severe symptoms including fever, vomiting and dehydration requiring hospital care.
  • Meanwhile, the UK is also tackling a Salmonella outbreak tied to imported eggs, which has recorded 207 cases and one death.
