Eamonn Brophy has challenged his St Mirren teammates to do their talking on the pitch in the remaining five games of the season.
Saints have only won one of their first eight games under new gaffer Stephen Robinson following the departure of now Aberdeen boss Jim Goodwin.
And ahead of the first post split fixture against Hibs in Paisley at the weekend, Brophy is adamant that the form can be turned around.

Speaking exclusively to Renfrewshire Live Sport, he said: “Everyone just needs to stick together, obviously it’s been a difficult run, there’s no getting away from that.
“But, we believe in the in the manager and what he’s trying to do here.
“We’re working hard on the training pitch and hopefully that can come through sooner rather than later because we certainly need the points.
“Listen, there’s no need to panic we just need to put a performance in on Saturday, if we do that we should be able to pick enough points to be more than comfortable.
"But, we need to start doing instead of just talking about it.”
Former Kilmarnock striker and one time Scotland cap Brophy has hit eight goals In 32 appearances so far for the Buddies this campaign and he hoping to add to that before it is comes to an end.
He also admits that he’s been pleasantly surprised about the size of the away support which follows the club up and down the country.
Whether it be Fir Park or Dingwall the Saints are always well backed and Brophy says it massively appreciated by the all of the players.
As Brophy called for last push from everyone connected with the club to make it smooth end to the season.
He continued: “Hopefully I can contribute in the games going forward, it’s an important run in and there’s not a lot of games left. Hopefully, I can help the team as much as I can, if that’s with goals but in other ways as well”
“”Fans are always important, they’ve been with us all season, The away support have surprised me to be honest with you, how good it is.
“Whether it’s Ross County or a local one like Motherwell, they always come in their numbers. We just need to get the results and hopefully they continue supporting us through this difficult run.
“I believe we will be able to get out of it and the remaining games will be crucial to pick up as many points as we can.
“We need everyone to pull together. That includes, backroom staff, players and the fans as well.
