In a scary moment during Sunday’s Week 2 NFL matchup between the Saints and Packers, quarterback Derek Carr took a brutal hit which resulted in him being down and immediately receiving attention from trainers. With New Orleans up 17-0 in the third quarter, Carr was wrapped up by Green Bay’s Rashan Gary, flipped over and thrown down hard onto the field.
Carr immediately appeared to be in a ton of pain, and tried to get up at one point but stayed down on the field. Here’s a look at the play which Carr was injured on, followed by the scene after the Saints signal-caller went down.
