Saints adjust travel plans to Cleveland, citing inclement weather forecast

Due to the inclement weather forecast for Cleveland on Friday, the Saints are planning to depart New Orleans following the team’s practice Thursday.

This is probably a smart move. There’s severe winter weather threatening this weekend, so the New Orleans Saints have decided to fly out earlier than expected ahead of Week 16’s road game with the Cleveland Browns. The team announced Tuesday that they’ll depart New Orleans after practice on Thursday, getting them to Cleveland with plenty of time to spare before kickoff on Saturday.
