Sainsbury's shoppers have been snapping up a "beautiful" dress that has been hailed as "great value" and ideal for stepping out on those warm summer evenings.
The supermarket has introduced a bright and colourful summer range in its Tu Clothing section, with a selection of dresses, skirts, swimsuits and more designed with sun-soaked getaways in mind. The bold patterned dresses on offer have proven particularly popular with shoppers, with one eye-catching garment rocketing up the bestseller list.
The Bright Swirl Linen-Rich Shift Dress is cut with a scoop neck and back to keep cool in the sunshine, and its colourful pattern has earned a string of rave reviews so far. Available to buy only on the Tu website, the dress comes in sizes eight to 26 and has a price tag of £18.

The head-turning dress has earned an overall rating of 4.3 out of five stars based on reviews from Sainsbury's shoppers, with 82% saying they would recommend it to others. One impressed customer branded the dress "perfection", writing in their review: "Love this dress for the warm summer evenings. True to size and looks great."
Another shopper wrote: "The dress is so colourful and looks beautiful on. The size I ordered is a perfect fit."
And someone else praised it as "great value for money", adding: "Really cool to wear, looks both smart and casual so matches all occasions."
Shoppers who didn't award the dress the full five stars left feedback about its sizing, with some finding that theirs didn't quite fit. "Lovely dress but the top is quite large, gapes under the arms," one person remarked, while another Sainsbury's customer similarly said: "Too big on the top and too small on hips."
If you're more into monochrome fashion, Sainsbury's is also selling a black and white version of the shift dress for the same £18 price. This one has an impressive rating of 4.5 out of five stars from shoppers, with 94% of people saying they would recommend it - but there are currently only a few select sizes left in stock, so you'll have to be quick if you want to snap one up.
Elsewhere on the high street, Marks & Spencer had shoppers raving over another linen shift dress as it shot up the retailer's bestseller list last week. Available in three different eye-catching patterns, the £27.50 Linen Rich Printed Round Neck Shift Dress was praised as "cool and comfortable" by shoppers.
