Sainsbury's set to open Edinburgh convenience store at foot of Pentland Hills

Plans have been submitted by Sainsbury’s to open a new convenience store at the foot of the Edinburgh Pentlands.

Just a few minutes away from Hillend ski centre and the Edinburgh City Bypass, the supermarket hope to open a new store at 44 Biggar Road.

Currently occupied by Craigdon Mountain Sports, the ground floor unit would be changed into a new grocery store if approved by the council.
