Supermarket giant Sainsbury's has said it is removing all products that are 100 per cent sourced from Russia. It made the announcement to customers on twitter this morning.
It follows moves by many other organisations to cut all ties with Russia following the invasion of Ukraine. A boycott of Russian products has seen action by sporting bodies, international companies and media giants.
In a tweet, Sainsbury's said: "We stand united with the people of Ukraine. We have reviewed our product range and have decided to remove from sale all products that are 100% sourced from Russia."
