Sainsbury’s shoppers have been left furious after the supermarket giant announced it would be hiking up its prices for its delivery passes to a whopping £80. Customers took to Twitter to complain about the new prices for a number of delivery passes yesterday (Wednesday, May 4).
The cost of the supermarket’s “anytime delivery pass” has been upped from £60 to £80. The pass accounts for up to one free delivery every day of the week, including weekends, the Mirror reports.
A shopper named Michelle wrote to the supermarket on Twitter: "Could I speak to someone about delivery pass renewal please? Had mine cancelled despite updating card details - now paying £20 more…"
